CVS Coupon Policy
Here are the CVS coupon policies. They do not have them online, but you can email them and they will send you a copy of their coupon policy. It is always a good idea to have a copy of the coupon policy with you while you shop.
- (see Drugstore Basics)
- In order to get the sales prices and benefits, you must sign up for an ExtraCare card. You can do this online or in the store. You need to have this card with you when you go to CVS- while they can look up your info by phone number, most stores have kiosks where you can scan your card and have coupons printed out! These are all store coupons that can be stacked with ManQs, and often you will get a Total Purchase coupon! (for example, $5/$25 purchase). If you forget your card, you miss out!
- CVS does not give you overage, but they will adjust the coupon down if the value of the coupon is higher than the price of the item.
- If CVS is having a BOGO sale and you have a BOGO coupon for that item, you will get both items for free. In addition, if they are having a BOGO sale, you are allowed to use 2 manufacturer coupons (one for each item) (this is the official policy, but YMMV). However, do not try to use a BOGO coupon AND two manufacturer coupons. The store will not be reimbursed for incorrectly (and illegally) used coupons, so this is STEALING.
- CVS will not accept expired coupons.
- You can only use one open-ended coupon (off your total purchase) per transaction.
