While Swagbucks is COMPLETELY free to use, there are ways that you can earn even more Swagbucks while you are shopping online! If you are an online shopper, you will especially like this feature (especially as the holidays roll in). Swagbucks partners with a number of online retailers, which allows you to shop at those merchants and earn Swagbucks for doing so! Most of the time you will receive 2 Swagbucks for every $1 you spend. Many times you will also be able to find stores in the Special Offers section that allow you to earn a large chunk of Swagbucks at one time when you meet or exceed a certain spending limit. For example, if you are still in need of a costume for Halloween, you can shop at Buycostume.com (through Swagbucks) and earn 243 Swagbucks for a $29.99 purchase! Here are some things to remember: -You must have a Swagbucks account. -You must shop through the store's link on the Swagbucks website, which can be found under Shop & Earn on your Swagbucks homepage or also under Special Offers (both are on the left side of the page). You must be logged in and use the links on the page to make sure that you get credit for your purchase. -It can take anywhere from a few days up to 32 days for your Swagbucks to be credited through your account. Some stores will do it as soon as your item ships, others wait until the "return" period is over. -You can use coupon codes on these purchases (and often, you will find some on the Swagbucks page when you select a retailer!) -Swagbucks may not be credited if you use Paypal or Google checkout. -If you return the item, your account will be deducted for the amount of Swagbucks earned on that purchase. -You do not earn SB on gift card purchases OR purchases made WITH a giftcard. The most important thing to know is that you HAVE to shop through the link on the Swagbucks page in order to get credit. Always keep your confirmation email as proof of purchase.
