Yet another store has released a new coupon policy. I am sure we all know why (or which show to blame)... Here is the policy from their website. I also recommend you head over here and print it out and take it to the store with you when you shop. The biggest differences are the way they are handling BOGO coupons and internet coupons for free items. I have added this to my master list of printable coupon policies.

Manufacturer and Target Coupons:
- Target accepts one Manufacturer Coupon and one Target Coupon for the same item (unless prohibited by either coupon).
- Item purchased must match the coupon description (brand, size, quantity, color, flavor, etc.).
-Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied.
-We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item
-All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier during checkout.
-All applicable sales taxes are paid by the guest at the full value of the item.
-These guidelines apply to all coupons accepted at Target (Color Checkout Coupons, Internet Coupons, Mobile Coupons, Mailed Coupons, Coupons from Newspapers and Magazines, etc.).

Internet (Print-at-Home) Coupons:
- We gladly accept valid internet coupons that contain a clear and scannable bar code.
-We do not accept internet coupons for free items with no purchase requirements.

Mobile Coupons:
-Guests can receive Target Mobile Coupons by signing up for Text Alerts at Target.com/mobile or by texting COUPONS to 827438 (TARGET).
-Message and data rates may apply.  See site for full details.
-To redeem, simply show your coupon barcode to the cashier.  With one simple scan, all applicable coupons are applied.

Buy One Get One Free Coupons (BOGO):
- BOGO coupons cannot be combined (i.e. you cannot use two BOGO coupons on two items and get both for free). Unless stated otherwise on the coupon, the use of one Buy One Get One Free coupon requires that two of the valid items are presented at checkout of which one item will be charged to the guest and the 2nd item will be discounted by its full retail price.
-A second cents-off coupon of the same type cannot be redeemed towards the purchase price of the first item.
- If a Target BOGO coupon is used, one additional manufacturer coupon maybe used on the first item.
- If a Manufacturer BOGO coupon is used, one additional Target coupon may be used on the first item.

Exclusions:
-Coupons are void if copied, scanned, transferred, purchased, sold, prohibited by law, or appear altered in any way.
-We can't accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores.
-Some items may not be available at all stores.
-We do not accept expired coupons.(thanks Couponing to Disney!)

So, I know you have heard about my disdain for Supercenters when it comes to saving money- and in most cases, you truly are better off just going to a grocery store and buying items at their rock-bottom price. Sometimes, however, Target really steps it up- like this week! In many areas Target is running a special promotion on their frozen foods: Buy any (ANY!!!) 7 frozen items, receive a $5 giftcard. (Some areas only get a reusable bag or something, which stinks.) The only trick to this is that your total AFTER coupons (but before payment options, like gift cards) for your 7 items has to equal $5.01. I got everything pictured above for a little over $28, and I am going to break down my transactions for you so that you see how I did it. :) (Keep in mind that I had all three of my kiddos with me, and they were being ridiculously wild!)

Transaction 1:
Buy 6 Tony's Pizza items @ $1 each = $6
Buy 1 Ore-Ida Easy Fries .99
-use 2 $1/2 Tony's pizza here.
Total: $5.04, get a $5 giftcard!

Transaction 2:
Buy 3 boxes of Tornados @ $2 = $6
Buy 3 Edwards Pies Singles @ $2.29= $6.87
Buy 1 Ore-Ida Easy Fries .99
use 3 $1/1 Edward's Singles from 2/6 SS
use $1/1 Tornados, Kroger mailer
use 2 .75/1 Tornados printables (limit reached)
paid with $5 giftcard
Total OOP: $3.36, get a $5 giftcard!

Transaction 3:
Buy 10 Smart Ones @ $1.80 each= $18
Buy 4 Market Pantry broccoli @ $1.02 each = $4.08
use $5/10 Smart Ones Target coupon.
use $4/10 Smart Ones, Kroger mailer
use $1/4 Target frozen veggies printable.
paid with $5 giftcard
Total OOP: $8.08, get $10 in giftcards!

Transaction 4:
Buy 10 Smart Ones @ $1.80 each = $18
Buy 4 Market Pantry peas @ $1.02 each = $4.08
use $5/10 Smart Ones Target Printable.
use $3/10 Smart Ones printable.
use $1/4 Target frozen veggies printable.
pay with $10 giftcards
Total OOP: $3.08

Transaction 5:
2 Up&Up ibuprofen @ .99 each = $1.98
1 Up&Up liners @ .89
1 misses denim jeans, $4.98 (on the 75% off rack!)
1 Garnier moisturizer, $6.99
1 gallon of milk, $2.69
2 Up&Up floss @ .99 each = $1.98
2 Halls cough drops @ $1.30 each = $2.60
1 Up&Up diapers, $6.99 (hopefully our last pack of diapers, 'cause we are potty training this week! fingers crossed! lol)
use 2 $1/1 Up&Up pain relievers printable.
use 1 .75/1 Up&Up feminine care printable.
use $5/1 Misses Denim printable
use 2 $1/1 Up&Up oral care printable.
use 2 .50/1 Halls Target printable.
use 1 $2/1 Garnier Target printable
.
use 2 .50/1 Halls from 2/6 SS
use 1 $2/1 Garnier moisturizer from 2/6 RP
pay with $10 giftcards
Total OOP: $8! (and FREE jeans!)

Total trip OOP: $27.56 before tax- and that includes diapers, jeans and milk!

Get out those frozen foods coupons and get ready to save! A few pointers:
-When making your transactions, your first one should be the least amount of money OOP, since you won't have any giftcards to use on it- but it will need to equal at least $5.01
-Try to go from smallest to largest OOP, especially if you are buying the Smart Ones. Since you have to buy 10 to use the coupons, you will need 4 more items in those transaction to equal 14 and get 2 giftcards.
-Don't stress out! Count carefully, write down your transactions, and have your coupons separated by transaction to streamline your time at the register.
-Be nice to your cashier. :) They are probably feeling a little stressed too!

I would love to hear how you did! Leave a comment or email me at couponqueen@fabstealsanddeals.com, and include a pic of your steals and deals!

You can check out Totally Target's list of frozen item match-ups here.
