The deals change daily and only a limited number are available. The deals that can be redeemed online are available to anyone, anywhere, regardless of the city the deal is under.

I went on Friday with my newly-procured Stripes card to TGIFridays and ordered my FREE appetizer (since we were going to a movie with a bunch of candy after, we decided to get a FREE appetizer instead of a FREE dessert). Well, that's when I found out that every time you present your Stripes card you get a FREE basket of member's-only chips and salsa (so I'd say go for the free dessert since you are already getting a free appetizer!)!
